Introduction
The sleeping human being has a tremendous capacity of self-
deception.
We actually need to die in all of the three factors. Death is
the common denominator, it is present in all three factors.
The Four keys to Work With Pain & Suffering
1.) Comprehension.
2.) Liberation.
3.) Elimination.
4.) Integration.
Pain can be liberated but later on it has to also be eliminated.
This is a difficult work that requires much depth in investigation. Integration
has to do with one’s integration into the Being.
Comprehension
The comprehension of pain is the understanding of what the pain
is, who feels the pain and why.
One of the major causes of pain is self-love along with the
loss of something or somebody. Where this particular pain could be related to fear
or attachment etc.
Pain is Due Essentially to Loss
The pain for losing something or someone is about values. Is
it the pain for having lost what that person, or thing meant and represents in
our life.
The main characteristic of pain is emotion. Pain is
something emotional. It creates a sense of loss as well as a void accompanied
by feelings of emptiness. We usually fill this empty void with pain and
suffering.
When working with pain we must address the emotional centre.
The pain in the emotional centre obliterates the
intellectual centre.
Depending on the magnitude of the pain we can or can not
easily fill that void.
Whether we can fill that void all depends on how much value
we have given to that person or thing that we have lost. The attachment that we
feel is the attachment for ourselves.
Real Love
Real love should be unilateral. From us towards others.
We normally love through another and not directly to them.
We love another through our egos and personality being pleased.
Pride itself is rebellion against pain. Taking one's own
life is an act of revenge. We develop hatred so quickly and easily. There is
also a collective pain.
We feel pain when we are our pride is hit. We must teach
ourselves not to suffer.
When we dig into Pride we will find many layers. The
rebellion against pain is one of these layers.
There is no pain without investment. When we invest much of
our life into something or someone we will feel great pain when it leaves our life.
We invest in a foundation. When the foundation of our life
has been invested into something we will feel great pain when we can not
separate or comes to terms with its loss.
Pain is a sense of attachment. We must make our investments in
our Being. Not in any human being.
Pain exists due to the love of myself. If we
are more in relation with the Being we will not have this type of love that
brings pain. Because we are in life we tend to always forget the Being in us.
